Yukon Territory

Continuing the drive through Canada on Friday, the 21st...

More wildlife :)

This guy got scared when we honked the horn...only brown bear we saw.

These are all different black bears that we saw a few miles within each other...Raymon was getting sick of stopping to take pictures of bears!!

Welcome to the Yukon Territory!!

Saw a lot of abandoned towns and buildings...

This was a really cool mountain, looks more like a giant hill!

Most of the way the Alaskan highway was paved and both sides of the road were mowed and well kept...a few times though it was just a dirt road with potholes :)

910 more miles to Fairbanks!

More logging facilities...

You can kind of see a wolf in the left hand corner of the pick-up window.

Hey, this is making me want to go find my journal of this trip...
I think we felt like we were really getting to the 'far~north' when we reached Yukon territory!
Are any of the lake pix of Kluane Lake? I remember it seemed to be miles long, and was really beautiful.
